Thanks to the Red A Cielo Abierto; they trust and impulse me to create this work.
Movements of the stem, articulated, resistant, communicative, patient, sensitive, rigid, containing, protective, real.
In the presence of a dancer, one just sees what he does. One cannot know what he is saying. However, that does not mean he is communicating nothing. Many times, it is an act of expressing territory or identity.
I normally think of millions of physical orders to my body at the same time and many of them are contradictory; and with them, I try to tear the air.
I considered talking about the distorted image in an open space. How to create a landscape, blurred at times, which plays between the real and the artificial realms. The reality of performing in front of the audience, intimately and with no tricks. And at the same time, the unreality that a scene can have. This is an intriguing story, which could be judgmental or simply evocative.
