Originally from Galicia, she received the second Prize for the Choreography Se va del Aire in XXI Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid (2007). She also won the B-Motion Award and a grant for DanceWebEurope as a dancer in the same Contest.
Janet Novas has worked as a dancer for Provisional Danza, Megaló Teatro Móvil, Pedro Berdäyes, Arrieritos and José Reches. She presently works for the Daniel Abreu Company and Pisando Ovos Company, and she is currently part of the Teeming Pop collective, Embassy Off… and Vuelo 6408 collectives. Her works Se va del Aire and Marietta have been showed in Cuba, Venezuela and Spain. |
