Alvaro Esteban is a dancer and choreographer originally from Madrid. He has a degree in Ciencias de la Actividad Física y Deporte by INEF.
He studied contemporary dance in the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Marienma, Madrid. He has worked for companies and choreographers such as the Centro Coreográfico Galego, the Tenerife Danza Lab, Larumbe Danza, Trasdanza, Carmen Werner, Pedro Berdäyes, Olga Cobos, Cisco Aznar, Roberto Oliván, Patrick de Bana and Cocoon Dance…
As a choreographer he has received a number of prizes. With the choreographic work Entomo, created in collaboration with Elías Aguirre, he receive the Audience Award and Prize Awared by the Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Ávila in the Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid (2009).
He works for the Daniel Abreu Company since 2010 in the choreographies Otros rastros and Animal.
